Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Lead to perform accounting tasks in a shared services environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Prepare, review, and post journal entriesPrepare and review bank and other account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately statedSupport internal and external audit requestsWork in a team environment while supporting business units throughout the organizationMaintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunitiesDevelop accounting process flows and SOPsDevelop, analyze, and present reports to managementManage projects and ad-hoc requests as assignedIndirectly supervise the work efforts of lower level or junior staff members QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA preferred5-7 years of experienceHands-on experience in financial accounting & reporting
Technical Skills:
MS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)SAP ERP experience highly desiredHyperion ESSBASE, a plusSoft Skills:
