Job DescriptionResponsible for management of daily fixed asset accounting tasks, processes, and reporting. This position is responsible for developing, interpreting, and applying the Company’s fixed asset policies and providing related support to the Company’s tax functions.

This position is based in Dallas, TX at the Omni Corporate Office.
Responsibilities Research, develop, implement, and manage fixed asset policies and guidanceEnsure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Reconcile fixed asset subledger detail to general ledger monthlyPerform month-end close proceduresPrimary point of contact for fixed asset related analysis and inquiriesResponsible for accounting for acquired assets and asset dispositionsPrepare audit schedules as requiredRelated special projects Qualifications A four-year degree, accounting/finance preferredMinimum of 3 years of related experienceUnderstands accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, general ledger, sub-ledger, Accrual, etc.)Possess working knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle preferredMust be deadline oriented, self-starter and able to work in a thriving fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyEffective written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving skillsetAdvanced Excel skills with strong overall PC proficiency Ability to work independently, with some oversight, and in team environment Must have good work ethic and integrity, dependable, adaptable, cooperative, and motivated to take on new responsibilitiesProfessional demeanor with a positive, solution-seeking attitudeAbility to think critically & analytically and make sound decisions to effectively drive important project issues to effective resolution
