Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Accountant in San Francisco, California. The role involves handling multiple entities within a single company and accurately tracking various events. This role operates within the financial services industry and requires a strong understanding of union-related matters, particularly in a city like San Francisco that heavily relies on unions. Responsibilities: • Manually downloading and managing data from UKG, not integrated with NetSuite. • Handling the complexity of managing financial aspects for a company with 6-7 entities, ensuring accurate tracking of events, part-time staff, contractors, labor, union, and non-union workers. • Accurately calculating commissions. • Reconciling liability accounts and cash, while maintaining a thorough understanding of payroll activities. • Utilizing experience with unions, dealing with union rates and benefits. • Operating as an individual contributor without managing people. • Leveraging preferred software such as NetSuite and UKG for efficient task completion. • Conducting audits and handling billing functions.
