Accounting Manager
Description We are searching for an exceptionally talented finance individual to oversee and direct a team in a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting, ideally someone who has excelled as an Accounting Manager. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in shaping and transitioning the company’s financial infrastructure, including accounting, treasury functions, internal controls, and financial reporting operations. The perfect candidate will possess advanced credentials such as a CPA or a Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating excellence in leadership abilities and successful financial management in dynamic and adaptable business environments. Primary Responsibilities: + Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards, as well as tax and regulatory guidelines, to provide valuable data for executive stakeholders, board members, and others invested in the company. + Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is complete, accurate, and delivered on time. + Assist in creating internal management reports on a monthly basis and compiling external reports intermittently. + Take charge of general ledger maintenance and ensure accurate data processing. + Provide support for acquisition-related accounting while assisting with mergers and acquisitions due diligence and integration activities. + Implement and refine accounting guidelines, operational protocols, and internal control frameworks to meet compliance standards and best practices. + Contribute to treasury operations and manage risk mitigation along with tax processes and evaluations. + Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities on various assessments and reviews. + Support financial operational areas such as accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure smooth daily functions. + Actively propose and initiate process enhancements to increase operational efficiency and data precision. + Engage in special assignments, ad hoc analysis, and projects, adapting to business needs as they arise. Requirements Required Skills and Experience: + A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline, with CPA status or a Master’s in Accounting/Finance highly favored. + At least five years of progressive experience in financial and accounting roles, including three to five years within a high-caliber public accounting firm. + Strong proficiency in GAAP accounting standards and a proven ability to meet complex reporting and compliance requirements. + Expertise in using advanced accounting tools, ERP systems, and Excel, with the ability to analyze and consolidate large data sets effectively. + Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities. + Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders at various organizational levels. + Demonstrated success in leading teams, inspiring collaboration, and driving performance excellence. + Thrive in environments that demand agility, demonstrating a results-focused mindset and enthusiasm for continuous development.
