You are a strategically-minded, highly motivated person who will be able to provide reliable and timely information and analysis to business leaders to guide them in the decision-making process.   ACCOUNTING MANAGER  Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and year-end files including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, accruals and analysis for the Mexican entitySupport the preparation of detailed monthly variance analysis on expensesPerform gross profit analysis and resolve inconsistencies and issues in the financial reporting processProvide guidance and support to the financial analysts in the month-end closing processPrepare general ledger analysis and reconciliations Review detailed monthly financial reportsPerform various financial analysis requested by upper managementAssist with the processing and submission of invoices through PO management systemOversee the VAT compliance and ensure adequate recording in the general ledgerOversee Mexico Tax compliance on a regular basis and communicate tasks with Director of Global Tax (including corporate tax, Transfer pricing study and various other tax compliance)Oversee the financial systems to ensure that financial information is maintained in an accurate and timely mannerParticipate in financial and external audits Maintain relationships and communicate with external accountants, consultants and auditorsAssist with annual forecasting and budgetingAnswer ad hoc requests from management Support operations and sales staff for ad hoc requests  What We Are Looking For:Degree in Accounting, Taxes, Business, Finance; Postgraduate studies in taxes will be a plus;Minimum 5 years of experience in a general accounting role, experience in Logistic will be a plus.Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen;Ability to think strategically and strong skills to drive business initiatives end to end and deliver insights;Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment;Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment;Ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting the Company’s policies and objectives;Solid proficiency in MS office (specifically Microsoft Excel) English proficiency. What We Offer:Robust industry with training and mentorshipFree parking subject to the rotation and availability, and free coffee all day!Dynamic environment and ‘can-do’ culture This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday.This role requires proficiency in English because of the duties to be performed.
