Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Ownership to complete the monthly financial accounts, including posting of journals, all Balance Sheet reconciliationsResponsible for producing all financial and KPI reporting for Lancer leadership, providing clear commentary with insights to areas of opportunityMember of the Lancer leadership team, supports strategy planning, including production of forecasts & budgetsOversees the Lancer finance individual responsible for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, providing coaching & identification to improve processes in these areasManages the treasury & cash requirements, including the relationships with financial institutionsResponsible for the Standard Cost accounting within the organization, assist the management team with accurate routings/ BoMS as well as reporting out of production variances. Furthermore, support in any inventory accounting activitiesCollaborates with external auditors for Lancer to provide information needed for the financial auditsOversight of the organization’s tax exposure, returns & effective tax planning of the organization, ensuring compliance with national, state & local direct & indirect tax obligations. Manages the relationship with the designated tax partnerMaintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk and ensure complianceOwnership of accounting & payroll systems within the Lancer organization, including governance & data integrity. Continued evaluation of the effectiveness of accounting softwareAn active member of the wider Greene Tweed Finance community, with the ability to both obtain support for Lancer financials as well as support for the wider Greene Tweed financialsSupport in the financial requirements of the Greene Tweed ownershipInvolvement in various projects both specific to the business area & wider organization to drive improvements to existing processes or implement newSupport other Greene Tweed related accounting and finance duties as requiredRequired Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent regional Financial certification (CPA, CMA or CGMA)Skills and Experience:
15+ years of relevant accounting experienceDemonstrated hands-on finance professionalHighly detailed orientated & well organizedInterpersonal skills, relationship builder & team playerClear evidence of collaboration, from both within Finance & external to the businessChange management experience preferredExperience in establishing and successfully implementing internal controls, accounting policies, and financial systemsHighly proficient with ERP (preferably IQMS & SAP) and MS OfficeJob Environment:
