Description We are on the lookout for an Accounting Manager to join our team based in Tustin, California. In this role, you'll be leading a team and overseeing day-to-day operations, while also acting as the primary reviewer for all rebate figures. Responsibilities: • Supervise the team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in daily operations • Develop and implement initiatives with the aim of optimizing the rebate process • Take part in the creation of an internal portal for calculating and reconciling vendor rebates • Assist in the design and launch of a comprehensive rebate contract management portal • Lead efforts in creating a robust KPI framework for tracking rebates by product line and vendor, and generate reports for various departments • Collaborate on the development of a procurement model to optimize purchasing strategies by vendor and region • Spearhead the implementation of EDI/API connectivity with top-tier vendors to automate the rebate calculation and reconciliation process • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate records • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Use accounting software systems, ERP, and other related tools to streamline accounts payable and receivable, auditing, billing functions, and other accounting functions. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in Auditing • Experience in managing Billing Functions • Familiarity with Rebate processing and reconciliation • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • CPA or relevant certification is a plus • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
