Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent
DESCRIPTION Manage controller's checklist to ensure all entries are posted to the general ledger for the close period. Run and prepare profit recognition for Work in Process schedules for 3 Companies which is reviewed by the CFO, Executive Management and Operations. Preparation of mid-year reforecast and annual budget. Maintain all insurance schedules (GL, WC, Auto, etc.). Included by not limited to the preparation of monthly entries, participation in audits and develop methods of forecasting for the policy period. Preparation of binders for Executive Management that include internal P&Ls, cash flows, aged receivables, and WIP Reports for all trade lines. Preparation of monthly and quarterly performance financial schedules for review by Tutor Perini Corporate, the CFO, Executive Management and Operations. Preparation of weekly financial reporting schedules to Tutor Perini Corporate Treasury. Preparation of monthly Accounting Schedules which include: Statement of Cash flow, WIP reconciliation, PP&E, Debt, Business Insurance. Preparation of monthly internal financials for the Building, JOC, Mechanical and Close Out Group. Preparation of monthly consolidation and elimination entries. Perform other duties as assigned. Coordinator for internal and external audits. Respond timely to information requests from Tutor Perini Corporate, CFO, Executive Management, and Legal. Ad hoc reporting as needed. REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management or relative from an accredited institution and 1O+ years of financial experience in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or General Contractors financials. Masters degree preferred Significant knowledge of Project Controls/Project management processes PMI Certification or other contracting/project management certifications preferred Knowledge of Accounting/Finance principles and practices (GAAP) Construction Accounting Experience, AIA Billing, Certified Payroll, Job Costing, Financial Modeling, Forecasting & Budgeting preferred Systems Skills- Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Excel, Hyperion HFM, Essbase, Textura, SCA LCMS, Prolog Organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables and use decision-making capabilities and judgement to prioritize Excellent written and verbal skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities Leadership Skills (works well independently and in team environment, able to direct/manage others effectively, work with all levels of management, independent decision-making abilities) Ability to think strategicallySalary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
