Description This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates with strong analytical skills and a preference for challenging and fast-paced work environments will be successful in this position. Your responsibilities in this role - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions - Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required - Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors - Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management - Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives - Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP - Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload - Current and relevant ERP system experience - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required - Solid understanding of Excel Formulas - Accounts Payable (AP) experience required - Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation - Deep understanding of GAAP Accounting - Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines - 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
