Accounting Manager

Ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Columbus Ohio area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule. Also open to remote candidates in the states surrounding Ohio.

What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Manage monthly/quarterly close responsibilities related to: preparation and recording of complex journal entries, reserve/accrual adjustments, balance sheet reconciliation including GR/IR, financial statement review, balance sheet analytics, and other close activitiesManages material intercompany P&L transactions across domestic and foreign entities including researching intercompany out-of-balancesFocus on identifying, communicating, and managing risks and opportunities within the organizationHighly visible to business leaders throughout the organization and requires communication with Senior Level associates for special projectsDevelop technical solutions to a wide range of complex processes.Performs special projects and financial statement analysis to support the business needs as requestedUnderstand new intercompany lane transaction flows and settlement processesProviding internal business partners with accurate documentation, analysis and education to support decision makingRepresent the department, cross-functionally, in interactions with all levels of managementProvide support for internal and external audit request and inquiries

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.6+ years accounting experience in related field, preferred.1+ years management/supervisor experience with direct reports, preferred.CPA preferred

Anticipated salary range: $103,500-$147,900
