Accounting Manager
Job Title: Accounting Manager Our client is a dynamic and innovative company committed to excellence in manufacturing. Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will be r esponsible for overseeing all aspects of a company's accounting operations, including managing the accounting team, preparing financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions; ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. + Oversee the FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business decisions. + Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. + Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. + Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes. + Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately. + Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. + Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans. + Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on FP&A and management. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. + Excellent leadership and team management skills. + Proficiency in JD Edwards and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
