Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, you will work closely with the CFO, leading and directing the AP Manager, staff accountant, and billing clerk. You will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments across various disbursement workflows, ensuring documented approvals per company policy, and accurate recording. Disbursement workflows include PO and non-PO processing via Coupa and MS Dynamics (Great Plains), vendor ACH debits, vendor portal payments, credit card payments, and wires. Additionally, you will assist with month-end closing procedures including AP accruals and other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesLead and direct AP Manager, staff accountant, and billing clerk.Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments across various disbursement workflows.Ensure documented approvals per company policy.Accurately record disbursement workflows including PO and non-PO processing via Coupa and MS Dynamics (Great Plains), vendor ACH debits, vendor portal payments, credit card payments, and wires.Assist with month-end closing procedures including AP accruals.Handle other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.Experience working with different departments and cross-functional teams.Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with ERP systems, Hyperion, Smartview, and databases.Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity applications.Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping theories and practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Coupa (preferred).Experience with MS Dynamics.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Assertive problem solver with well-developed analytic and process improvement skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle divisional and local management demands.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Excel pivot tables.Vendor management.General ledger.Accounts payable/receivable.Clerical skills.ACH processing.Bookkeeping.Invoice processing.Supervision.Month end procedures.Finance and accrual accounting.Supervisory skills.Invoice reconciliation.Cost accounting.Work Environment
This is a primarily in-office role where you will be required to sit for long periods of time working with computers, copiers, and telephones. There is infrequent light physical effort required. The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00
