Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
+ Manage the month-end close process and financial reporting.
+ Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements.
+ Collaborate with external CPAs for year-end closing and reporting.
+ Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Complete ad hoc projects and analyses.
+ Manage billing processes.
+ Oversee payroll and payroll tax processes.
+ Administer HR functions including benefits management, timesheets, and expense processing.
+ Reconcile credit card statements.
+ Advise executive management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting.
+ Apply for corporate insurance policies.
+ Maintain and report project costs
+ Manage AP & AR Responsibilities
Essential Skills:
+ 5-10 years of professional accounting experience.
+ 5 years of experience with US GAAP.
+ General ledger management experience.
+ Payroll accounting experience (highly preferred).
+ Deltek Vantagepoint experience (preferred).
+ High level of expertise in Excel.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Familiarity with professional services accounting (preferred).
Work Environment: This role is based onsite Monday through Friday. You will be working within a small, established, and stable company with growth potential. The company has a strong culture of integrity and cares deeply for its employees, as evidenced by long tenures and the distribution of bonuses throughout the year based on company profit. The position reports to the CFO based in Orlando, with company offices in various locations. The Accounting Manager will handle all aspects of the accounting process, some HR and payroll, and will play a crucial role in a team of 15+ employees in the USA.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00
