Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the healthcare industry, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Accounting Manager, you will be expected to perform a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger duties, corporate accounting, payroll, tax, and cash flow reporting and forecasting.
Responsibilities
• Oversee general ledger duties to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Assist with the preparation of corporate accounting reports
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws
• Manage tax reporting processes in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Develop and maintain cash flow reports and conduct cash forecasting activities
• Oversee accounts payable and purchasing operations
• Utilize Sage Intacct for ERP tasks
• Conduct month-end close procedures
• Ensure accuracy in financial data and adherence to financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required, with a strong understanding of best practices and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience with Sage 300, Sage 100, and Sage Intacct is essential for this role.
• Ability to produce accurate and timely Cash Flow Reports is necessary.
• Knowledge of Cash Forecasting techniques is a must, with a focus on accuracy and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with the General Ledger, including posting and reconciling transactions, is required.
• Experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulations.
• Prior experience in a Healthcare or NHS setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
