Description Robert Half is recruiting for a strong Accounting Manager Consultant for a privately held Higher Education for profit client in the Long Beach area. The consultant will be responsible for an efficient and accurate month-end close and financial reporting process. This includes balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring all subledgers and reports match the general ledger, preparing any adjusting journal entries and preparing financial reports. In addition, the consultant will assist with monthly and quarterly reports and any ad hoc reports for senior management. This role will be located onsite in Long Beach, CA area. Skills: - Higher Education experience preferred - Strong Excel experience is required -Ability to communicate with all levels -QuickBooks Enterprise / Desktop experience is required Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial role • Proven proficiency in various accounting functions • Extensive experience with budget processes • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential • Solid understanding and experience in financial reporting • Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis • Experience with Audit PBC lists • Knowledge of Paylocity is a strong advantage • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines • Deep understanding of the Education industry is a big plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
