The Accounting Manager of Integrations & Corporate Departments is responsible for the monthly close of the corporate headquarter departments, allocations to operating branches and integrating acquisitions into our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365). It is a hands-on role that also leads and manages a current team of two accountants (one degreed and one non-degreed). The manager is responsible for hiring, training, and coaching subordinates, as well as enforcing corporate company policies, rules, and procedures.
\n\nResponsibilities:
\n\nPrepare and present timely and accurate financial updates to senior management\nPrepare and oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information in accordance with US GAAP\nPrepare and oversee the proper reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including the resolution of issues/outstanding items\nPrepare and oversee the preparation of recurring and ad-hoc analyses\nOversee the monthly close process of the lease accounting software (another department is responsible for entering leases into the lease software)\nPrepare and oversee the timely completion of information requests from external auditors\nLead and manage the integration team responsible for bringing new entities into the accounting system.\nTrain and mentor integration team members to ensure effective communication and high-quality work\nHire, develop, retain, train, mentor and direct high-performing team members in a manner that promotes trust and collaboration \nDemonstrate leadership and management in a manner that positively motivates and supports company values, policies and ethical procedures\nDevelop, implement and improve internal controls, policies and procedures\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n\n RequirementsKnowledge & Skills:
\n\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP \nProficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) \nExperience with Microsoft Dynamic 365, LeaseAccelerator and OneStream a plus\nStrong Experience in Balance Sheet reconciliation review and implementation\nExperience with accounting integrations and system conversions a plus\n\nStrong professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.)\nHighly motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player that works well in a fast-paced environment\nExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders\nExceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously\nStrong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically in fast-paced environments\nAble to clearly communicate difficult accounting issues\nConfidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities\n\nEducation & Experience:
\n\nBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required \nMasters Degree preferred \nAt least 6 years of accounting experience\nAt least 3 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience preferred\nCPA preferred\n\n
