Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager based in San Francisco. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing various financial functions, including budgeting, financial modeling, and compliance audits. You will also be responsible for coordinating with different departments to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to regulations. Responsibilities: • Coordinating with the finance leader to manage monthly invoicing processes for all grants and contracts, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. • Assisting in managing program and agency budgets to optimize revenue and identify potential improvement areas and cost savings. • Utilizing financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios. • Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial records and adherence to financial regulations. • Handling auditing and billing functions as part of the role's responsibilities. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as an Accounting or Finance Manager. • Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing as a core skill and function. • Proven expertise in overseeing Billing Functions within an accounting department. • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing a team. • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. • Solid understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work well with others.
