Description Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager Consultant to support our private equity backed Healthcare client. The consultant will be responsible for the month-end close preparation including preparing all balance sheet account reconciliations, reviewing account reconciliations, ensuring all subledgers and reports match the general ledger, preparing any adjusting journal entries and preparing audit schedules as required by the external auditor. This role will be located onsite in Long Beach, CA Skills: -Excellent written/verbal communication skills required -Must be able to work independently -Roll -up the sleeves individual Requirements • Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. • Proficient in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, with the ability to accurately maintain and monitor account balances. • Demonstrated expertise in handling Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported. • Proficient in creating and managing Journal Entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Strong skills in Financial Reporting, with the ability to prepare detailed reports for senior management. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • Detail oriented certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as QuickBooks. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under tight deadlines. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong leadership and team management skills.
