Description We are offering a three to six month engagement for an Accounting Manager in Union, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the financial close process. You will also manage capital assets and handle cash flow forecasting. Responsibilities: • Overseeing and managing the accounts receivable and payable departments • Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Keeping precise records of customer credit • Overseeing the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting • Managing capital assets within a capital-intensive environment • Handling cash management and providing accurate cash flow forecasts • Supporting and managing full cycle payroll for three exempt employees • Managing sales and use tax filings • Utilizing accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning effectively • Utilizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions • Ensuring strict compliance with deadlines and proactively communicating any risks. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must • Comprehensive understanding of all Accounting Functions • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in Financial Close Process and Monthly Financial Close • Experience managing Capital Assets and understanding of Capitalization • Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll • Experience with Annual Tax and Tax - Sales & Use • Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
