**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for sophisticated accounting activities associated with maintaining the general ledger and for the production of various resultant financial documents. You will coordinate approved accounting policies & practices to ensure that financial & operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business & provide reliable information necessary to control the operations. You will examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principles and work on complex accounting projects as they come about.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor AR turn rates, unapplied Cash accumulations on a monthly basis.
+ Work with AR Aging Team on credits aging past 9 months due to escheatment rules (provide training, assistance in contacting US companies).
+ Ensure proper Bad debt research at all 3 client levels for recovery before refunding or escheatment on terminated projects.
+ Perform annual Penny Write-off reconciliation for Tax Department.
+ Check Genpact daily/bi-weekly/monthly billing summary reports to ensure volume/amounts trending appropriately.
+ Review multiple unbilled reports monthly and figure out a solution.
+ Direct Credit, Credit/Rebills and Repricing as needed.
+ Perform in-depth reviews of Management Fees quarterly to find and fix issues not being addressed (drop of accruals, missing fees, duplicate fees, accruals not in line with actuals).
+ Dive into Management Fee rebates quarterly (audit list for missing clients, monitor aging of collections and payouts, reconcile weekly payment data to monthly accrual file, assist with new rebate setups).
+ Handle DEC bonus processing like 2022 and follow up on all missing invoicing.
+ Confirm Bi-weekly Payroll Exception Template results in appropriate billings.
+ Review Genpact “close financial packages”.
+ Monitor Balance Sheet and assist research all items older than 9 months.
+ Train Genpact on new items they have not handled before.
+ Resolve issues between Genpact and PM Ops so both sides have proper job aids moving forward.
+ Become an expert on system Rate Plans and ensure are up to date for HR paycode changes and chart of account changes.
+ Provide technical advice and training on accounting systems to staff.
+ Participate in system conversions / enhancement providing scoping information, testing and feedback, and training others.
+ Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies, acceptable accounting practices, and applicable regulations.
+ Maintain accounting processes and procedures which align with generally accepted accounting principles, tax requirements, SEC requirements, and management reporting requirements.

+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
+ 7+ years experience in public and/or private accounting, including 3+ years experience in progressively responsible supervisory/management positions
+ CPA preferred.
+ In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Financial Accounting Standards (FASB), theories, & practices.
+ Demonstrated experience & knowledge of financial issues & economic impact beyond technical knowledge.
