Accounting Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our team based in Lancaster, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial stability of the organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial procedures, such as accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing strategic financial advice to the senior management team. Responsibilities: • Oversee the work of the accounting staff to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions • Conduct regular reviews of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for accuracy and compliance • Manage and maintain an effective accounting system for reporting and auditing purposes • Prepare and submit grant requests to secure additional funding for the organization • Develop budget requests and maintain fiscal control to ensure the organization's financial health • Generate monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors to facilitate informed decision-making • Collaborate with Program Managers to ensure fiscal compliance and meeting of budget goals • Review and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction to improve the organization's financial efficiency • Handle incoming donations, county payments, and other forms of payments to ensure funds are accurately recorded and allocated • Liaise with auditors to facilitate the monitoring of the organization's finances. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager • Proficient in performing all Accounting Functions • Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Auditing and Billing Functions • Knowledge and understanding of Foundation Grants, Government Grants, and Private Grants • Proven experience in Grant Accounting and Federal Grant management • Ability to handle Grant Management efficiently • Experience in Full Cycle Payroll management • Familiarity with Domestic Payroll procedures and regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
