Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is within a logistics company and requires a highly organized individual with a keen attention to detail. As an Accounting Manager, you will be in charge of various tasks, including processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and resolving financial inquiries. Responsibilities • Organize and manage the accounting process within the logistics company • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for financial management • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently • Conduct thorough auditing processes and ensure financial compliance • Oversee and manage Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) processes • Ensure accurate Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation • Take ownership of financial matters and efficiently resolve any issues that arise • Collaborate with the team to streamline financial processes and procedures.
