**Purpose of the job:**
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, managing key elements of monthly financial planning, closing, and reporting processes for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and statutory reporting. The Accounting Manager drives process improvements and supports strategic financial initiatives to enhance the company’s overall financial performance.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
+ Ensure adherence to regulatory and tax requirements in all accounting practices. Oversee both internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
+ Lead the preparation of financial statements, manage audits, and ensure compliance with local legislative reporting obligations.
+ Guarantee timely submission of monthly financial reports in Tagetik and take responsibility for reported numbers.
+ Oversee the implementation of internal control frameworks and the delegation of authority (DoA).
+ Collaborate with the CoE to establish compliant end-to-end processes for P2P, O2C, and R2R, aligning with internal guidelines and the Group’s Shared Services approach.
+ Ensure compliance with Group-defined intercompany transaction guidelines and oversee accurate reconciliation.
+ Ensure tax and treasury compliance with both internal Group policies and external regulatory standards.
+ Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls throughout the company.
+ Lead, manage, and support the growth and development of the accounting team.
+ Work closely with the leadership team to assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring that accounting strategies are in line with the company’s goals.
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
+ University degree in Finance, Accounting.
+ Experience within the manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.
+ 7+ years of leadership experience in Finance, Treasury Management and Accounting.
+ ACCA/CPA or equivalent certification.
+ SAP experience is a must.
+ HFM/Tagetik experience is preferred.
+ Strong MS Office skills.
+ Strong organization skills and focus on compliance and accuracy.
+ Ability to work under pressure.
+ Relationship management and team handling skills.
