Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with specialized expertise in revenue accounting and financial reporting. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, and mentoring a highly skilled team. Key Responsibilities
+ Revenue Accounting Management: Oversee and manage the revenue recognition process in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions.
+ Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and manage internal and external financial reporting focused on revenue, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This includes supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
+ Process Development & Improvement: Design, implement, and enhance revenue accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
+ Data Analysis: Analyze revenue trends, reconcile accounts, and prepare detailed revenue reports to help drive decision-making by senior management and key stakeholders.
+ Compliance & Auditing: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure adherence to accounting standards and provide necessary documentation for audit processes.
+ Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of accounting professionals, focusing on upskilling and promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
+ Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with sales, operations, and business teams to streamline revenue recognition workflows and ensure accurate representation of contracts and transactions.
+ ERP/Technology Utilization: Leverage advanced ERP software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) to manage revenue-related accounting processes effectively and integrate AI-driven tools, where relevant.

Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
+ 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
+ Strong understanding of revenue recognition rules, particularly ASC 606, and their practical implementation.
+ Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas) and familiarity with ERP systems.
+ Demonstrated experience in designing workflows and improving financial processes within an organization.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under strict deadlines.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
+ Experience in one or more of the following industries: financial services, healthcare, real estate, or technology.
