Accounting Manager PPCJP00000432 A leading digital streaming network is seeking an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will support and analyze partner accounting and reporting for the company's worldwide home entertainment business. This includes preparing monthly financial reports for partners, managing and reconciling monthly partner intercompany transactions, maintaining title master data, and overseeing two direct reports. The ideal candidate has experience with SAP, Business Warehouse reporting, and VW analysis/warehouse. Accounting Manager and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $55/hr * Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, Tuesdays/Wednesdays in office - First and last week of the month during month close able to work from home, 4-5 days per month) * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment Accounting Manager Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise the preparation and review of month-end close journal entries, ensuring all entries are accurate, compliant with accounting standards, and completed in a timely manner. * Provide guidance to team members during the close process to ensure smooth execution and resolve any discrepancies. * Review monthly intercompany and participation balances, and ensure reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner. * Prepare various schedules for quarterly reporting to Corporate. * Assist in ensuring that partners' titles are set up and maintained in our master database. Accounting Manager Qualifications: * 5-7+ years of related experience is preferred. * Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting. * Experience with financial analysis US GAAP, and IFRS. * Experience in month-end close and reporting preferred. * Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred. * Advanced Excel experience - pivot tables, v-look up, formulas, etc. * Strong accounting knowledge * Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial data. * Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse reporting, and VW analysis/warehouse. * Self-starter with the ability to independently identify issues and propose well-thought-out solutions. * Excellent written & oral communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven track record of managing deadlines in high-pressure, fast-paced settings. * Strong capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Shift: * 9 AM - 6 PM. * During the monthly close (3 days before EOM/first week of the following month), the team may need to work Saturday/Sunday. * May be asked to work on weekends during month close: 1-2 hours.
