Accounting Manager
Job Title: Accounting Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager (6 month contract-to-hire) to oversee and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves developing and managing the annual budget and financial forecasts, monitoring financial performance, and providing insights to management. Responsibilities + Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. + Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. + Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts. + Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and provide insights to management. + Implement and maintain cost accounting systems. + Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability. + Ensure accurate costing of products and inventory valuation. + Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. + Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance. + Oversee inventory accounting, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. + Ensure accurate inventory records and perform periodic physical inventory counts. Essential Skills + Proficiency in general ledger, forecasting, reconciliation, journal entry, and month-end processes. + Experience with accounting, financial statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. + 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry. + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP. + Expertise in cost accounting, reporting, cost analysis, balance sheet, financial reporting, and finance. + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. + Experience with SAP/Workwise. Work Environment This position is onsite, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We offer flexibility if needed, including work-from-home options. The company provides good benefits and fosters a supportive work environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $57.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
