Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking accounting professional with high ethical standards who can relate to people at all levels of our organization. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented with at least 5 years of core accounting experience and will thrive while operating in a dynamic, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment This role is responsible for all accounting functions for acquisition targets of the company pre-close and post-close acquisition.
Essential Functions

Provide oversight of and responsibility for all accounting functions for acquisition targets of the company pre-close and post-close acquisition.Post-Close responsibilities for each acquisition: Ensure utilities and recurring payments are transferred.Ensure leases, capex, and fixed assets are properly captured and established in our corporate accounting systems.Work with our payroll department to transition payroll data and functions from legacy systems to our payroll system.Ensure sales tax data is captured.Oversee acquiree’s inventory verification and necessary cleanup/ adjustments.Oversee w-9 and name change process.Work with the corporate accounting team including acquiree in divisional allocations and accruals.Work with the FP&A team to incorporate current and historical data and financials of the acquiree.Help novate any existing contracts and agreements of the acquiree.Collaborate with the treasurer to gain banking access immediately post-close.Post-Close ERP migration process each acquiree:Work with the acquiree to clean up existing AP / AROversee vendor setup and notification of the invoicing process.Validate user access roles with IT.Collaborate with the Treasurer to migrate bank accounts.Become familiar with DuraServ operations and processes such that there is appropriate dissemination of acquisition information to all related internal Duraserv departments.Analyze, interpret, summarize, and communicate accounting information to all acquisition stakeholders, including non-accountants.Establish and formalize Duraserv’s acquisition accounting procedures pre-close through post-close acquisition.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This job requires up to 50% planned business travel.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required. Combined experience in this type of job role of 5 or more years with education is desirable.Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and finance.CPA is highly desirable.Disclaimer
