Description We are in search of a strong Accounting Professional out of Construction to join our team based in Jersey City, New Jersey. The title is flexible and can be Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager or Controller depending on experience. will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, analyzing data, and expanding their responsibilities to cover a broader scope. This role is particularly suited to those who excel in the construction industry. Responsibilities: • Overseeing and managing all general ledger accounting • AIA documentation and billing related to construction • Understanding of union payroll • Preparing financial statements • Making internal improvements to internal controls and processes • Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance • Overseeing the financial reporting • Overseeing the tax planning and compliance • Ensuring compliance with union regulations and requirements • Providing strategic financial guidance based on data analysis and financial trend forecasting.
