Accounting Manager/Controller
Description We are on the lookout for an Accounting Manager/Controller to become a part of our team. This role is set in the heart of Redondo Beach, California, United States, within the thriving industry. The position will play a crucial part in overseeing our accounting and finance operations, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of transactions and records. Responsibilities: • Oversee the complete accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions • Manage customer credit applications, ensuring they are processed accurately and promptly • Maintain and update customer credit records, keeping them accurate and up-to-date • Handle all aspects of journal entries, ensuring they are recorded correctly and promptly • Take charge of the month-end close process, guaranteeing all financial deadlines are met • Establish and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions • Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline and automate processes • Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out and paid on time • Oversee the accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accuracy of financial data. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Controller. • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field • CPA LICENSURE (Inactive OK) REQUIRED • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. • Familiarity with BlackLine software is expected. • Proficient in using Concur software. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential. • Must be skilled in various accounting functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must. • Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Auditing skills are necessary for this role. • Must be capable of handling various billing functions.
