Accounting Manager II
**Job Description** Reporting to the VP Finance, Supply Chain Finance - HPSI, the Manager of Accounting will primarily be responsible for financial reporting, monthly close, quarterly/ annual outputs, and inputs to financial analysis of operating results including internal metrics and benchmarks for the HPSI portion of the North American Group Procurement Organization (GPO) and Supply Chain. The Manager serves as a business partner to the VPs/Managing Directors and support staff of the HPSI GPO Organization. This individual will interact with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Senior Leadership Team, including the VP Global Supply Chain Finance, HPSI VP Sales, HPSI VP Procurement as well as Corporate Finance/Accounting Leads. The Manager will play a key role in the preparation of underlying support documents for business operating results, and will provide support to the planning and overall financial performance reporting of HPSI including Gross Revenues, Client incentives (CIP), SG&A costs, drivers of margin expansion/contraction as well as Total Purchasing Volumes (TPV). Scope includes $1.5 Billion of TPV, $50M Revenue and $6M AOI on an annual basis. This role is designed to support SCM Finance?s strategic succession planning efforts in developing strong talent for SCM and the broader organization. **Job Responsibilities** + Supporting and assisting in the reporting and planning process for the HPSI GPO + Establishing standard and consistent accrual close, accrual processes, reporting models, cadence and key metrics for HPSI + Coordinating and reporting the following for HPSI + Supporting the development of the annual plan, which includes setting channel specific targets (TPV, NVDs and CIP) and meeting with HPSI Sales/Procurement leads and SCM Finance/Accounting Directors and staff + Analyzing and comparing monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against prior periods + Identifying and providing detailed analysis on underperforming accounts and programs + Supporting the US LOB annual NVD plan for HPSI to establish goals and targets + Analyzing and comparing monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators against plan and other internal/external benchmarks, including purchase data capture and mix + Ensure the timely completion of the monthly NVD analysis for SCM management to identify volume and rate issues by program and LOB.. + Build / Establish relationships with key LOB finance and operational personnel to build an understanding of purchasing initiatives. + Evaluate financial reporting and analysis requirements for potential improvements or modifications. + Participating in technology systems overviews to identify immediate needs to remove redundancy, capture efficiencies and improve accuracy (to support business development and analytics + Involvement with the on-boarding and development of new Accounting and Finance team members + Assisting the VP HPSI Finance as required and performing other related duties as assignedIdentifying leadership and growth opportunities for Accounting team **Qualifications** + Requires a Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting / Finance. CPA or MBA strongly preferred. + 8+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience in both P&L and NVDs are required. + Demonstrated experience at a lead level in a finance and accounting capacity. + Prior experience leading staff. + Team building ? ability to create a collaborative, sharing and trusting culture. + Analytics and fact based informed decision maker. + Experience working cross functionally in a large matrixed organization. + Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority. + Microsoft Excel experience is a must and Microsoft Access, is desired. **Education** Bachelors preferred **About Aramark** **Our Mission** Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
