Job Description
Our subsidiary manages and delivers a podcast and media advertising platform (SaaS). We are seeking an Accounting Manager who can manage the General Ledger, month-end processes, AP/AR, and statement preparation for 100-150 publishers utilizing our service. You will need to quickly step in and handle the workload using Excel and QuickBooks Online. This is initially a 4-month contract with potential for extension or conversion for the right candidate.
ResponsibilitiesManage the General Ledger and month-end processes.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.Prepare financial statements for 100-150 publishers.Utilize Excel and QuickBooks Online efficiently.Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting processes.Communicate effectively across different teams and skill sets.Essential Skills8 years of professional operational accounting experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Proficient in QuickBooks.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of people.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the advertising or media industry preferred.Digital advertising or agency experience preferred.Digital marketing experience or project management.Customer service experience preferred.Attention to detail.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly.Experience with invoicing and accounts receivable.Work Environment
This position is 100% based in our San Francisco office, with potential to sit out of LA or NY, but highly preferred to be in SF. This is a great opportunity to join a growing startup group within a larger organization.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00
