Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Plaistow, New Hampshire. The role involves managing daily accounting operations and overseeing the accounting team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data, driving project profitability, and fostering a high-performance culture in the workplace. Responsibilities: • Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger • Direct the process of job cost tracking and ensure its accuracy • Supervise payroll processing, ensuring it complies with relevant labor regulations • Develop and monitor financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports to highlight project profitability and financial performance metrics • Provide financial insights and budget oversight to support project managers • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture • Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Utilize accounting software systems such as Sage 300, BlackLine, and Concur for efficient management of accounting functions. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Knowledge of BlackLine and Concur is a must. • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is desirable. • Ability to oversee all accounting functions. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory. • Prior experience in auditing is necessary. • Must be able to manage all billing functions. • Experience in construction industry is beneficial. • Knowledge of Construction Accounting is required. • Proficiency in Sage 300 is desirable.
