Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Taking charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties will be essential for this Accounting Manager role with a burgeoning, innovative company. Key responsibilities - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable - Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials - Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant - Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met - Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook - Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses - Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Requirements - 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable - CPA/MBA preferred - Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation - Proven technical skills - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience - Practical knowledge of Annual Reports - Training development experience desired - Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred - General familiarity with Aging Reports - Earlier work involving Accrued Expenses - Adeptness in Monthly Account Reconciliation - Demonstrated knowledge of Annual Financial Reporting - Background working with Expense Budget - Audit Reviews experience - Ledger Reconciliations experience - Deep understanding of Business Banking Relationship - Department Reports experience highly preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
