Description Well established, growing company in Northeast Houston is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team! This role will have oversight of the accounting as well as administrative management of the office and will report directly to the President of the company. The responsibilities will include the following: + Lead and manage daily accounting activities including the maintenance of the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. + Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card transactions. + Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations. + Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Oversee internal financial controls and procedures, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. + Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation. + Assist with the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze budget variances and provide insights to management for decision-making. + Implement and maintain office policies and procedures. + Serve as the point of contact for vendors, contractors, and service providers for the corporate office. + Coordinate with IT support to ensure all office technology (computers, phones, printers) is functioning properly and troubleshoot minor issues as needed. + Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools, resources, and training. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
