Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in the investment management industry in Boca Raton, Florida. The role is for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor who will be integral to our operations. This role involves working in our office, handling major banking transactions and intercompany operations. It will also involve working with a large ERP and different software like, SAP, Great Plains, and Timberline, across a diverse range of industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, etc,.
Responsibilities:
• Handle accounting operations and HR administrative tasks
• Manage significant bank wire transactions
• Oversee and coordinate intercompany operations
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient workflow
• Use accounting software systems such as Sage Timberline and Microsoft Great Plains for various tasks
• Handle month-end close operations and adjusting journal entries
• Record, review, and prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy
• Manage bank account reconciliation, monitor bank balances and transactions
• Oversee cash balance and cash activity, including cash applications
• Manage daily cash flows and movements effectively.
Human Resources and high level admin tasks are about 20% of the job as well.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Demonstrated competency in Accounting Functions
• Experience with Auditing
• Knowledge of Sage Timberline and Sage Timberline Software
• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC), Microsoft Great Plains Accounting, Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics, Microsoft Great Plains eEnterprise, and Microsoft Great Plains Solomon
• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks
• Experience with Adjusting Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Journal Entries, Journal Entry, and Journal Entry Preparation
• Expertise in Ledger Journal Entries, Month-end Journal Entries, Monthly Journal Entries
• Ability to Post Journal Entries
• Experience in Posting Journal Entries and Preparing Journal Entries
• Capability to Record Journal Entries
• Experience with Recurring Journal Entries and Reviewing Journal Entries
• Skill in Bank Account Reconciliation
• Ability to manage Bank Balances and handle Bank Reconciliations
• Experience with Bank Transaction
• Competence in managing Cash Balance and Cash Activity
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Management and handling Cash Movements
• Skill in Daily Cash Management
Previous HR and admin, operations experience required
