Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description We are in the detail-oriented services industry, based in Dallas, Texas, and we're looking for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks including managing client accounts, handling bookkeeping, payroll and tax services, and preparing financial statements. Responsibilities • Oversee various client accounts assigned to you. • Handle bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately. • Manage payroll and tax services for clients. • Prepare financial statements and perform various other accounting and consulting services. • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of tax accounting principles. • Ensure standard accounting processes are followed for recording business transactions into the general ledger. • Perform account reconciliations and work paper preparation. • Prepare and post journal entries as required by the level of engagement. • Adapt your work as required by different levels of engagement. • Analyze financial statements prepared by clients and identify any issues that need to be corrected. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for efficient management of financial records. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required to support the company's financial operations. • Knowledge of BlackLine software is important for financial consolidation and transparency. • Familiarity with Concur, a tool for managing business expenses, is essential. • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial for streamlining business processes. • Mastery of various Accounting Functions is needed to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is necessary for managing the company's bills and expenses. • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required to oversee the company's incoming payments. • Auditing skills are vital for validating the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Experience with Billing Functions is needed to ensure accurate and timely charging of services to clients.
