Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description We are inviting applications for the position of Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Anaheim, California. This role is based in the financial services industry and entails managing and supervising accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and participating in the preparation of consolidated financials. Responsibilities: • Manage the team's daily tasks, establish priorities, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables. • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate records. • Lead governmental audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Assist with the preparation of the Consolidated Financials and Month End reporting in accordance with GAAP accounting standards. • Review AP and AR Aging for accuracy and ensure reconciliation to the general ledger. • Support the Financial Controller in the annual external audit and provide needed information. • Participate in preparing quarterly tax estimates with the external tax preparer and ensure Sales and Use Tax Filings. • Review Vendor/Customer Credit Applications and ensure their accuracy. • Oversee Workers Comp insurance renewal and manage other related duties. • Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility. • Prepare ad hoc analysis and account analysis and reconciliations for various general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Requirements • Accounting Manager/Supervisor role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a significant requirement. • Familiarity with BlackLine software will be beneficial. • Knowledge of Concur software is necessary. • Proficiency with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a crucial requirement. • The candidate must be skilled in various Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Auditing skills are essential for this role. • The candidate must be knowledgeable in Billing Functions.
