Description Robert Half is partnering with a distribution company in Denver. This role is the sole accounting person for the site reporting to the President. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting and possess a solid understanding of financial principles and practices. This role offers an opportunity to manage and streamline financial operations in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: + Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. + Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. + General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger entries. + Tax Preparation: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. + Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits. + Inventory Accounting: Monitor and manage inventory costs and valuations. + Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls. This role is 100% in office. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). + 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment. + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
