Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Knoxville, Tennessee. As part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, managing accounts payables and receivables, and working with various accounting software systems. The role involves leading the team in the accurate and timely execution of accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the execution of accounts payable and receivable tasks • Utilize various accounting software systems to facilitate work processes • Lead the team in performing journal entries and month-end close procedures • Conduct bank account and balance sheet reconciliations • Manage billing functions and ensure the accuracy of financial data • Assist with the preparation and execution of budgeting and forecasting activities • Handle sales tax and transportation tax filings to ensure compliance with regulations • Work on fixed assets and depreciation schedules • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting • Supervise a team of accounting professionals and ensure efficient workflow • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting functions and industry best practices.
