Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This role is pivotal in a growing energy related industry where you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic management team. Offering an exciting opportunity, the Accounting Manager/Supervisor will manage financial information, oversee treasury operations, and contribute to various special projects. Responsibilities: • Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting • Prepare and review financial information, ensuring its accuracy and compliance • Manage treasury operations, including budgeting, to ensure financial stability • Work on various special projects, contributing your expertise and knowledge • Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting • Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records • Use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting managerial role or similar. • Proficiency in executing Month End Close processes is essential. • Candidate should have hands-on experience with Financial Statement Preparation. • Proficiency in QuickBooks software is a mandatory requirement. • Experience in Account Reconciliation is essential. • The applicant must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise a team. • Strong communication and organizational skills are required. • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory. • The candidate should exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Knowledge of other accounting software and systems would be considered an advantage.
