Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our Chemicals Manufacturing operations based in MONTGOMERY, Illinois. As the Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be primarily tasked with managing financial reporting, overseeing month-end closures, and coordinating external audits. You will also be supervising a small team, ensuring the effective management of account reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Overseeing all aspects of financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded. • Conducting account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Coordinating with external auditors, providing necessary information and facilitating audits. • Supervising a small accounting team, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of tasks. • Utilizing Epicor and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. Pay Range: $100K - $110K, 401K with match Medical, Dental, Vision Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the chemicals manufacturing industry • Proficiency in Month End Close procedures • Expertise in using Epicor software • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
