About the team
The Vendor Data Manager will be a key leadership position within the Worldpay Global Accounting organization. This team ensures vendors are set up timely and accurately, maintains the vendor master, and collaborates with business and procurement/sourcing teams to ensure new vendors are onboarded and data is recorded accurately and completely. The team also handles vendor data issues, escalations, and emergencies, and works closely with key stakeholders to implement and improve vendor data processes.

What you’ll own

Lead the Vendor Data Team ensuring vendors are set up timely and accurately.Maintain the vendor master including contacting vendors for updated details.Collaborate with business and procurement/sourcing teams to ensure new vendors are onboarded and data is recorded accurately and completely.Lead resolution for vendor data issues, escalations, and emergencies.Collaborate with key stakeholders (P2P team, Sourcing, Accounting, Treasury, IT, and Business) to implement & improve Vendor Data processes.Develop Vendor Data documentation, processes, controls, and SOPs.Lead functional requirements for Vendor Data enhancements.Respond and analyze ad hoc Vendor Data reporting requests.Respond to audit queries and reconciliations.Protect sensitive supplier information (banking information) and ensure compliance with data standards and regulations.Investigate and resolve issues related to vendor creation, modification, incorrect/incomplete data.

Where you’ll own it
You’ll own it in our thriving Global Accounting hub. This role will manage the transition of data from one team to a newly formed team and work closely with third-party consultants and other cross-functional leaders to share best practices and contribute towards Global Vendor Data standards.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Minimum 3 years of experience in Vendor management roles in multinational companies.Experience working with finance ERP systems and reporting tools (Oracle, Trax, HFM, Raindrop, Excel).Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner, with all levels, including presentations.Strong working knowledge of leading a global team.Strong organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills for entry-level employees and third-party contractor teams.General business skills, industry knowledge, accounting principles, and the Procure to Pay process.Ability to identify, address, and resolve employee-related issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the use of Excel.Ability to utilize judgment in decision-making processes related to job tasks.Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management.Ability to design, document, and implement process improvements.
