Responsibilities:
-Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
-Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
-Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders
-Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
-Maintain and update accounting records, files and general ledger records
-Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
-Prepare monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP
-Prepare and Analyze budgets and results
-Manage banking relationships
-Reconcile multiple bank statements, domestic and international
-Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
-Examine tax policies and interact with the outside tax firm
-Prepare commission reports for review
-Prepare sales and use tax returns for US and Canada
-Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable as needed
-Assist with collection of accounts as needed
-Ensure accurate product costs are set by other departments
-Provide backup Payroll processing as needed
-Acts as the Corporate Secretary/Treasurer
