Accounting Operations Manager
Job Title: Accounting Operations ManagerJob Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Manager to oversee finance and clerical duties within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and administrative support, with specific experience in the healthcare sector. This role involves multitasking and managing various financial operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities. Responsibilities + Handle daily finance and clerical duties with a focus on financial analysis and profit and loss statements. + Manage bank accounts, including depositing checks from private insurance and monitoring account activities. + Coordinate payroll processes, including moving funds, copying schedules, and working with the payroll company. + Upload receipts and manage transactions in QuickBooks. + Print checks for doctors to sign and identify potential credit card fraud. + Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate billing and address any issues with insurance payments. + Manage 401k plans, including making necessary changes on Vanguard. + Assist with onboarding new hires, including payroll setup and credentialing with medical staff. + Ensure licenses and credentials are up to date and assist with renewals. + Coordinate with the board and physicians to ensure smooth operations. + Provide basic IT support to distinguish and address computer issues. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in accounting. + 2-3 years of administrative support experience. + Proficiency in QuickBooks for entering receipts and managing transactions. + Strong financial analysis skills, including profit and loss statements. + Experience with payroll processing. + Ability to identify and address credit card fraud. + Experience in a physician or doctor's office setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with busy physicians and staff. + Basic finance knowledge, including check depositing and receipt management. + Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel. + Knowledge of medical billing and credentialing processes. Work Environment The work environment is very friendly and easygoing, with a team that gets along well. The role involves coordinating with physicians and the board to ensure smooth operations. The work hours are regular, with occasional meetings to discuss billing and payroll processes. The dress code is business casual, and the office culture is supportive and collaborative.
