Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking an Accounting Professional to join us remotely on contract basis. The Accounting Professional is responsible for ensuring compliance with Government Regulations (e.g. US Treasury Clearing Initiatives), managing transactions involving US treasury securities with a clear understanding of the impact on the financials, regulatory reporting and capital management. The role involves working closely with financial institutions, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure compliance with Treasury related clearing regulations, maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting liquidity management processes. The candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles/standards, US Treasury Operations and financial clearing systems
Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
Accounting:
Understanding of the trade lifecycle, the accounting events and the Balance Sheet impactUnderstanding of the treasury function and liquidity impact intra and end of day; specific to US Treasuries activitiesUnderstanding of the Balance Management process which includes attribution and transfer pricing.Risk Management
Understanding of the Risk identification process as well as managing control breaches and mitigating Operations/Financial risksUnderstand the operational process that impacts Liquidity and Financial risks .Communications:
Excellent communication and writing skills requiredEffective communicator of the accounting treatment of treasury related transactions and ensure that it aligns with proper accounting standards.Qualifications:
6-10 years of Accounting and Finance and Treasury OperationsExperience with US treasury securities, financial clearing systems ( DTCC, FICC etc.)CPA preferred but not mandatoryStrong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)Analytical thinking, attention to details and problem solving skills#LI-MR1
