Job Description

McDonald’s Corporate Controller Group’s Financial Accounting and Reporting group currently has an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to join our team. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for an individual to gain an understanding of McDonald’s Corporation, the global business, financial statements, consolidation accounting, internal and external reporting and more. It will provide the candidate the ability to further enhance their analytical, communication and project management skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Analysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projected resultsCreation of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports for use by the Senior Leadership TeamOwnership of various SEC reporting functions, including populating financial results for the earnings release and quarterly/annual filings, drafting supporting schedules, compiling and analyzing annual reporting packages, and assisting in filing proceduresPreparation of materials for key Executive meetings, including the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership TeamCollaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, internal and external auditors, etc.Assist in preparation of ad hoc research requests from management and key customers related to new FASB standards and business initiatives

The expected salary range for this role is $65,820 – $82,280

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance2+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, public experience preferredOutstanding analytical abilities and communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsResults-driven individualStrong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teamsInitiative and creativity in finding efficienciesMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks
