Finance teams ensure up-to-date, reliable, accurate and transparent financial, accounting, management and statutory reports. Elaborate assets and transactions, carrying out the month-end close processes and data integrity, financial statutory reports, general finance and accounting, controlling, intercompany accounting, performance reporting
In this role You will:Carry out the month-end-close processes in a timely and accurate mannerHandle balance sheet reconciliation for businesses/countries supportedSupport AP-related processesWork with the supported Business to ensure mutual understanding of all accounting entries and follow up on queriesResolve queries and issues as they arise with reference to relevant resourcesLook for opportunities to improve processes to create efficiencies and control improvementsSupport audit processWhat You will need to be successful:Proven track record in Financial AccountingProficiency in English and German is a huge advantageSAP knowledge is an advantageLanguage and interpersonal skills with a particular focus on client responsivenessGood level of analytical skills, numeracy, and good financial understandingSelf-confident appearance in relation to the internal contactsStrong communication and cooperation skillsAssertivenessAt bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you:
