Accounting & Reporting Supervisor
Overview: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Planning, Reporting & Reimbursement, you will oversee duties relating to maintaining and developing financial reports and dashboards to provide decision making supporting analysis for organization leaders. This full-time (35 hours/week) position has a salary range of $88,000-$94,000 per year. Hybrid work arrangements are available. Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Supervise Revenue Accountant’s work, including the posting of journal entries and reviewing of revenue and A/R reconciliations. + Analyze and review monthly Revenue Programmatic Budget vs Actuals. + Develop and Prepare Monthly Financials for the CCBHC PPS Program, including allocation methodologies and rate calculations. + Ensure agency compliance with federal, state and other funding regulations + Assist in the preparation of the Agency Cost Reports including NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFRs) + Collaborate with external auditors and assist in the compilation of required reconciliations and other requests. Requirements: We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: + A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. + Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting. + Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and automated billing systems. + Experience with Intacct software (General Ledger), Netsmart billing system and the NYS CFR Portal preferred.
