Summary of Role: The Accounting Senior Manager will oversee the accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role will involve strategic financial planning, managing a global team, and coordinating with other departments to support the overall financial strategy of the organization. Essential Responsibilities: + Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. + Manage and mentor a global team, providing guidance and development opportunities. + Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and processes. + Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. + Collaborate with other departments to support strategic financial planning and decision-making. + Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. + Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Other Responsibilities: + Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department for US and EMEA entities. + Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems. + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. + Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. + Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP. + Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry. + MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
