JOB PURPOSE
The Accounting Services Associate at Azadea's Business Services is responsible for performing transactional accounting tasks aimed at providing an efficient and effective end-to-end service for the group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate accounting data, reconcile ledgers, and meticulously analyze recorded transactions. Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee the availability and accuracy of information. Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors throughout financial and operational audits, ensuring the consistent provision of accurate and timely information. Generate reports using statistical and functional metrics related to spending volume and nature, following specified schedules to ensure timely availability of all necessary information for review. Ensure compliance with cut-off dates, close general ledger accounts, and adjust in accordance with the established period-end calendar. Reconcile provision accounts promptly and accurately, and handle VAT/Withholding tax appropriately according to country regulations. Update the manual of booking continuously to keep the team informed about regulatory changes, VAT/Withholding tax, and accounting classifications for expenses. Verify, review, and maintain the accuracy of financial data (fixed assets, prepaid, gross margin, etc.) by identifying, investigating, and rectifying routine errors and anomalies in input data. Maintain clean and reconciled suspense and provision accounts, ensuring the company remains informed about its financial position continuously. *ABOUT THE COMPANY
